NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore), the principal teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, seeks an outstanding full-time Chest/Body/ Cardiac Imaging Radiologist to join a busy, sub specialized clinical service. NorthShore is comprised of a group of large community hospitals and outpatient centers located in Chicago's highly desirable North Shore suburbs which offer world class public schools as well as abundant cultural and recreational activities in addition to being close to Chicago. 

The successful candidate will have experience in all aspects of Thoracic and Body Imaging, including cross sectional cardiac imaging as well as CT, Ultrasound and MRI of the chest, abdomen and pelvis. Chest/Cardiothoracic Fellowship is preferred but not required.   

NorthShore University HealthSystem has its own dedicated radiology fellows in Body Imaging, Breast Imaging, Neuroradiology, and Musculoskeletal radiology, as well as rotating radiology residents from the University of Chicago, with medical students and non-radiology interns and residents occasionally rotating through radiology as well.  Teaching is integral to the position. 

The Radiology Department at NorthShore consists of 50+ subspecialized Radiologists, including a dedicated separate from body imaging Interventional Radiology section which performs thoracic and body imaging procedures. Overnight coverage is provided seven days a week 365 days a year by our in-house Emergency Radiology section who are fully integrated equal members in our Department.

Academic productivity is not required for this position or for promotion within the Department. If inclined however, there is full support for academic endeavors.
