Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is one of the largest multidisciplinary groups in the country whose main purpose is to nurture and embolden the healthcare providers who take care of the most fragile and vulnerable patients throughout New York City. Comprised of over 4,000 physicians and healthcare professionals, PAGNY provides services to NYC Health + Hospitals (H+H), the largest public health system in the United States.  We are currently seeking Hematologist/Oncologist’s for openings at the following locations:  

 

Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital

Bronx, NY

NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, a modern state-of-the-art teaching hospital and its sister campus NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx, a modern academic community hospital, are both located in safe respectively residential and vibrant commercial Bronx neighborhoods, just a few minutes north of Midtown Manhattan.  Our institution is a major academic affiliate and teaching site of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, with an independent accredited Hematology-Oncology fellowship program.  Jacobi is accredited by the ACOS Commission on Cancer and is an NABPC-accredited breast cancer center of excellence. Harlem Hospital Center

Manhattan, NY

NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, located on 135th Street in Manhattan, is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Medical Center. This is an NYC Care position and will include consulting with patients diagnosed with hematological disorders; prescribing medications; creating a robust sickle cell program; teaching medical students and residents; and providing consultation to other specialties.

 

Lincoln Medical Center

Bronx, NY

NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, located just 15 minutes from NYC, is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill-Cornell Medical College.  Dedicated to providing high quality patient care to a diverse community, Lincoln Medical Center is a NYS designated Level I Trauma and Stroke Center and has Centers of Excellence in all medical specialties including its award- winning Cancer and Breast Centers.

 

Qualifications include:

  • Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Hematology/Oncology.
  • NYS Medical License.
  • Competency in Hematology/Oncology procedures.
  • Active medical license In the State of New York.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Very good teaching skills.
