A hospital in Florida is hiring an OB/GYN hospitalist medical director. There will be administrative tasks such as schedules and interactions with the hospital administration. The split is about 80% clinical and 20% administrative. Responsibilities include delivery attendance, OB triage, patient evaluation/management, surgical assists, fetal monitoring, and ER coverage. Work 7 to 8, 24-hour shifts per month with an option to cover the clinics twice a week. The practice attends approximately 30 deliveries per month. The incoming physician must do OB and GYN cases.
