The Division of Infectious Disease at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, is seeking board certified/board eligible academic infectious disease physicians with interest and/or expertise in medical informatics or population health. The Division of Infectious Diseases is comprised of more than 30 physicians providing expertise in over 10 different focus areas of infectious diseases.  Mayo Clinic is a renowned tertiary care center involved in the management of infectious diseases in patients referred from locations around the nation and worldwide.  The division supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in general infectious diseases and two non-accredited advanced fellowships in Orthopedic and Transplant Infectious Diseases.

Responsibilities of the clinical consultant positions include participation in inpatient consultative services, outpatient infectious diseases clinics, telemedicine consultations, and career development activities in medical informatics or population health research.  

The Infectious Diseases Division is open to considering alternate FTE opportunities.

Qualifications:  Candidates should have Infectious Diseases fellowship training and be ABIM Board Certified/Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases.  Evidence of academic interest and productivity with a commitment to research in informatics expected. Interest in any of the following areas is preferred:  outpatient ID, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, medical informatics or population health.  These positions will include an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science.
