The Department of Medicine and the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics of the Brigham and Women's Hospital seek a faculty member at the rank of instructor, assistant or associate professor to join our program.

Applicants should have training in internal medicine, ideally oncology, as well as graduate training in epidemiology or biostatistics (M.S. or Ph.D.), and a developing record of achievement in research on the use and outcomes of medications used in oncology. Non-physician applicants with a Ph.D. in epidemiology or related fields will be considered if they have built sufficient expertise in the field.

Building on existing data, analytics, and methodology resources in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology, the successful candidate will develop a competitive research and training program in onco-pharmacoepidemiology. An academic rank of Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements. Clinicians may combine this position with part-time patient-care activities. The successful candidate will engage in mentoring trainees in the division and classroom.

Further information about our research programs can be found at www.DrugEpi.org. Please send a c.v. and a cover letter describing your interest to Sebastian Schneeweiss, M.D., Sc.D., Chief, Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics and Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School via e-mail at lseton@bwh.harvard.edu.
