The Chief Medical Consultant with the Medical Services Administration (MSA) is responsible for medical leadership for the Medical Services Administration in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). Working under the direction of the Medicaid Director and the Chief Medical Executive of MDHHS, the Chief Medical Consultant acts as a key leadership partner in network development, product design, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and policy review. The Chief Medical Consultant will oversee the Office of Medical Affairs within MSA, assuring that MSA physicians are appropriately engaged in the functions of MSA as well as in policy and strategy development for all of MDHHS.
