Carilion Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join a well-established group of five rheumatologists and one nurse practitioner in an academic based practice located in Roanoke, Virginia.
Responsibilities would include ambulatory care in the out-patient clinic as well as consultative service to inpatient hospital patients.. The practice sees a wide variety of rheumatological cases and offers full-spectrum state-of-the-art investigational services, procedural and therapeutic treatments.
This position also offers academic opportunities including an academic appointment with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine is available. Teaching opportunities including of medical students and residents as well as the opportunity to be involved with in the Rheumatology Fellowship program. This opportunity provides personal growth and fulfillment, career mentorship and development in both patient care and academic medicine.
- 4.5 day (90% clinical) per week work week
