MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice physician to participate as Palliative Care fellowship faculty located in Mason City, Iowa.

The selected candidate will join an inpatient and outpatient practice and serve a ten county service area. The candidate will serve as a Hospice Care physician and Hospice and Palliative Care faculty. Responsibilities will also include split supervision of an ARNP.

The schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday (days). Call is typically phone only and the APRN takes the initial call. Outpatient based palliative care will be in an Internal Medicine outpatient clinic two times a week. The selected candidate will see patients of all ages and the group has an average daily census of about 100 patients.

Successful candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. As well as board eligible or board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
