The Division of Hepatology Transplant at the University of Arizona and Banner University Medical Group is recruiting BC Hepatologist to join its current academic faculty team. This is an excellent career opportunity for a Hepatologist with training and experience in managing all phases of transplant care. This role will be providing leadership to the team in all advanced Liver Disease practice. The Hepatologists work with a dynamic multidisciplinary team and are directly involved in selection committee quality assurance initiatives, education and research in this growing program. 

Candidates should have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent teaching and clinical skills and a desire to support translational research. Qualified candidates will receive a faculty appointment to the University of Arizona commensurate with their credentials.

Qualifications include:

  • Must have 3-5+ years practice experience
  • Academic Leadership experience is preferred.
  • AZ medical license (or eligible to obtain)
  • BC in Hepatology

Essential functions include:

  • Upper Endoscopy procedure
  • Colonoscopy
  • Liver biopsies
