Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI MEDICAL CENTER DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS, located in Jackson, is seeking an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics to teach residents and medical students in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology, treat pediatric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, evaluate and offer treatment plans for any kind of chronic stomach issues including abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, failure to gain weight, feeding problems, constipation or dietary issues and perform medical procedures at hospitals and clinics in Hinds, Pike, Forrest, and Grenada Counties.

To fulfil the duties of this position, travel to worksites within 120 miles is required.

• Applicants must have a medical degree or its equivalent.
• Applicants must have completed a pediatrics residency and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology.
• Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Mississippi medical license.
