The Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School is recruiting a full time, non-tenure, Plastic Surgeon to join the present faculty. The Division currently has four faculty members and an advanced practitioner. The division is responsible for education of the Rutgers Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency program with three residents per year. Prospective candidates must have an MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in plastic surgery. Qualified candidates must be able to obtain New Jersey licensure prior to the start of employment. The candidate should be comfortable with the wide breadth of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Fellowship training in microsurgery, hand surgery and/or interest in transgender surgery is preferred.  The position’s primary hospital base is at University Hospital in Newark, NJ, which is affiliated with the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.  Depending upon the interests and training of the applicant, various clinical practice combinations may be possible. Minimum Education & Experience:

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an approved medical school, (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in plastic surgery.
