Geriatrics - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Opportunity
IHA and St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor have an excellent employment opportunity for a full- time Geriatric physician to join our Senior Health Services clinic located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
IHA is recruiting for a Fellowship trained in Geriatric Medicine and a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to be part of a well- established Geriatric outpatient clinic. Providers at the clinic include two Geriatricians, one
Nurse Practitioner, and one Social Worker, all specializing in senior services. Call will be shared with the other providers and will be 1:3.
IHA provides a continuum of Geriatric services to individuals 60 and over and our providers are passionate about the care of Geriatric patients. The ideal candidate would be interested in growing the practice and possibly the development of a fellowship program. IHA offers programs designed to address the changing needs of seniors. Saint Joseph Mercy Health System is the first in Michigan to create specialized Emergency Departments for patients age 65 and up.
Facilities/Services: St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor is a member of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care organizations in the United States. Trinity Health is based in Livonia, Michigan. The newly recruited Geriatric physician will be part of the Saint Joseph
Mercy Health System and have an opportunity to be affiliated with the multi-hospital system based in Ann Arbor, Livingston, and Saline, Michigan.
