SBH Health System, a 400+ bed acute care hospital and academic health system in the Bronx, New York and the primary teaching hospital of the CUNY School of Medicine, is recruiting for a gastroenterologist who will be a Clinician Educator.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and communication skills. Candidate will be committed to delivering high quality care to an underserved population, mentoring residents and medical students and working on quality improvement initiatives. Clinical responsibilities include inpatient consultations, clinics in general gastroenterology and liver disease and endoscopy. ERCP/EUS proficiency desirable but not required. Newly graduating fellows are welcome to apply.

Candidates must be BE/BC in Gastroenterology and possess a New York State license to practice as a physician. Current DEA is required. Spanish proficiency is desirable.
