Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana, is searching for an experienced physician leader to serve as Section Head, Urologic Oncology, Department of Urology.
Ochsner Health System Department of Urology is seeking a leader to serve as Section Head.
The Ochsner Clinic Center for Urologic Oncology (CUO) is located in the Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center at the Ochsner Medical Center and serves as the academic hub and tertiary referral center for our Health System. The CUO and the Cancer Center are in the midst of an aggressive expansion. The expanded CUO consists of 21 exam rooms and 4 procedural suites and our clinical research team.
Candidates must be board certified and have completed a fellowship in Urologic Oncology.
The Section Head will:
- provide leadership, direction and coordination of clinical academic and research endeavors in Urologic Oncology
- collaborate with Cancer Center and system leadership to expand clinical research and cancer care programs in the health system.
- lead multidisciplinary care team in Urologic Oncology.
The successful candidate for Section Head Urologic Oncology will be a respected Urologist with a track record of excellence in clinical care, research, and education. We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate to qualifications.
