The Presbyterian Heart & Vascular Program, a division of Presbyterian Healthcare Services, is seeking a BE/BC Vascular Surgeon to join its team of three Vascular Surgeons and four Advanced Practice Clinicians.

Our Vascular Surgery department is a part of the Presbyterian Heart and Vascular program, which is a leader in vascular and cardiovascular care in New Mexico. We offer a wide array of services dedicated to the prevention, detection and treatment of vascular disease.  Presbyterian Heart and Vascular Care offers the broadest and most complex services in the state, including New Mexico’s first pediatric heart surgery practice and the state’s largest and most innovative cardiac rehabilitation program. Our complement of highly skilled specialists includes clinical and interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, pediatric cardiologists, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons and cardiac anesthesiologists.

As a highly specialized center for vascular care, our reputation for excellence is built on providing our patients with the most advanced evidenced based treatment.  Our rapidly growing program performs over 1000 vascular surgical procedures annually. We perform surgery in two OR hybrid suites as well as a hybrid suite in our Cardiovascular lab. We manage ICAVL accredited peripheral vascular lab as well. We are located in Albuquerque with a population of 900,000 and draw from the entire state of 2 million.

Presbyterian Heart and Vascular Program supports and encourages a multi-disciplinary group of 20 cardiologists, 4 cardiothoracic surgeons and 3 vascular surgeons. 

The ideal candidate for our Vascular Surgery position has 2 years’ experience post-training preferred and is proficient in all aspects of adult vascular and endovascular surgery.  Our Vascular Department offers patients all aspects of vascular diagnostics, open repair, and endovascular intervention.
