The University has recently partnered with the Shriner’s Hospital for Children to develop a comprehensive pediatric orthopedic program in north central Florida. This full-time faculty position is available on a non-tenure accruing track at the rank of Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, research and administration. The successful finalist would ideally have a subspecialty interest in one or more of the following: pediatric spine, pediatric lower extremity conditions, trauma and/or neuromuscular diseases in addition to general pediatrics. Outstanding academic and research support are provided.
Salary and faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and academic qualifications. Applicants must have completed an Orthopaedic Residency and one year or more in a Pediatric Orthopaedic Fellowship and be Board Certified/Board Eligible. Finalist must obtain an unrestricted Florida Medical License.
