Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, has an immediate need for a BE/BC Pediatricians or BE/BC Pediatric Hospitalists to join our team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about a teaching position in a collegial, faith-based environment. 

Loma Linda University Children’s Health Pediatric Hospitalist Group serves 3 regional hospitals in addition to our primary Children’s Hospital and we are a growing and diverse group.  Our new Children’s Hospital towers are opening in May 2021 and we are looking to expand our team.

Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group is affiliated with Loma Linda University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital and School of Medicine, with the mission to deliver whole-person care at a world-class level of clinical excellence. The Medical Center serves as the largest tertiary referral source in both Riverside and San Bernardino counties with a surrounding population approaching 4 million.  

For over 100 years, Loma Linda University Health has been dedicated to excellence in health care, research, and education. Today we are building a new hospital and expanding our children’s hospital to continue meeting the health needs of our community. The new towers will be state-of-the-art, allowing for the newest advances in technology and patient care. We are also greatly expanding and enhancing our already robust research enterprise through a new collaborative research center and program endowments.

About the area 

This opportunity is primarily located at our community hospitals that serve the Coachella Valley, a beautiful low desert community about 50 miles east of Loma Linda.  This hospital system has GME programs and subspecialty support and includes acute care pediatric patients as well as well newborns. Palm Springs, known as the Playground of the Stars, and Indio, known as the Festival City host the 2 hospitals that this position would primarily serve. Our outpatient Pediatric Primary Clinic and Pediatric Urgent Care pavilion allows for easy transition of care and follow up.  The opportunity to incorporate some clinical time at the main campus can be discussed. Music, art, shopping, and plentiful outdoor activities combine with affordable housing and great schools to make this an amazing opportunity.

Loma Linda University is located between Los Angeles and Palm Springs in an area known as the Inland Empire. Nestled at the foot of the San Bernardino mountains, we have convenient access to beach cities, skiing, hiking, and a variety of other outdoor activities. This region also has excellent private and public-school systems.
