The University of Chicago: Biological Sciences Division: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
The University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is searching for an associate or full professor to serve as the Section Chief of Family Planning. The appointee will be responsible for the clinical care and management of patients both on campus and at off-site locations. Other duties will include providing leadership for clinical and research activities in family planning, teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and engaging in scholarly activities.
The ideal candidate will have training and experience in family planning and complex contraception with evidence of research intent. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
