The Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has immediate openings for a hematologist/medical oncologist with clinical/translational research interests to expand our robust and cutting-edge Myeloma section in the Department of Medicine.

Primary clinical activities will involve attending in an outpatient myeloma clinic with inpatient responsibilities with an experienced team of advanced practice providers. Under the mentorship of the service Chief, Jens Hillengass MD, PhD, candidates will have the opportunity to develop robust clinical, translational and basic science research programs in a collaborative, state-of-the-art academic environment with close interaction with outstanding clinical, basic science and population science departments at the Center.   Candidate will coordinate patient care plans with Transplant and Cellular Therapy Chief, Philip L. McCarthy, MD, for Myeloma patients requiring both SOC and protocol driven therapeutic interventions. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the teaching and training of Hematology and Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students and additional mentorship.

All positions at the Assistant to Full Professor level include highly competitive compensation and research start-up packages/laboratory space for those candidates seeking to pursue translational/basic research in the field.   

Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology, and be able to meet medical licensure requirements in New York State. Exceptional foreign medical graduates will be considered.
