Genesis Women’s Clinic
Genesis Women’s Clinic in Little Rock, Arkansas is seeking to recruit a BE/BC Ob/Gyn physician to join its busy private practice adjacent to the State’s largest hospital, Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. This opportunity is due to the pending retirement later this spring of one of the physicians. Due to this retirement, the new physician will immediately have patients as well as the opportunity to grow their own practice. Patients currently are having to be scheduled 8 weeks out.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic, compassionate person interested in practicing in a patient centered, evidenced based manner. The current clinic operation includes 3.5 clinic days, 1 OR day, and .5 day off with flexibility. Call would be 1:3. The in-office procedures include: hysteroscopy; ablation; leep; and colposcopy. Lab, X-ray, and Ultrasound are available onsite. The clinic uses Athena for its EMR and is able to interface with the hospital EMR, Epic.
Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock (BHMC-LR) is Arkansas’ largest hospital at 827 beds and performs approximately 4000 deliveries per year. It offers 16 delivery rooms (soon to be 20), 4 triage rooms, and a Level III B Labor & Delivery, and NICU (65 beds). There is 24/7 coverage in-house by a Laborist, as well as by both a Neonatologist and an NNP. There is also a Pregnancy Wellness Center available.
Little Rock is located in Central Arkansas and has much to offer in the way of outdoor activities as well as cultural experiences. It is easy to understand why Arkansas is called the Natural State from the many rivers, lakes, parks, hiking trails and camping sites readily available and in close proximity. Little Rock boasts the Little Rock Zoo, Arkansas Arts Center, Arkansas Symphony, and The Repertory Theater, to name a few. Little Rock has the only downtown home to both a state capitol and a Presidential Library, and is linked on both sides of the Arkansas River by 24 miles of one of the best trail systems of parks and pedestrian bridges in the country.
The compensation model for this position would be an income guarantee loan agreement with Baptist Health with an opportunity for partnership with Genesis.
