Mercy Health Physician Partners has an excellent full time opportunity for a Palliative Medicine Regional Medical Director to join our West Michigan Palliative Care team located in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan.

Our program provides family-oriented medical care for life-limiting illnesses, such as advanced cancer, advanced heart failure or advanced neurological diseases, among other serious illnesses. Focusing on identifying and relieving pain and symptoms of a serious illness is the specialized role of this medical care. Our goal is to improve a patient s quality of life by anticipating, preventing and relieving pain, symptoms and distress from diagnosis through treatment or at any stage of their illness, regardless of current treatment plans.

The schedule for this opportunity is 0.6 FTE Clinical and 0.4 FTE Medical Director/Administrative. Clinical time will be dedicated to Mercy Health Saint Mary's in Grand Rapids. The Medical Director role is for the entire region Grand Rapids and Muskegon.

Physicians must be Board Certified in their specialty within five years of completion of residency.
