Hancock County Hospital was recently named as a Top 20 Critical-Access Hospital in the nation. Opened in 2005, HCH provides state-of-the-art medical care to Sneedville and the surrounding area.

Emergency Department Details:

  • Annual ED Volume: 4,000
  • 5 Bed ED
  • 24 hours of Physician Coverage daily
  • 12 and 24hr shifts available
  • EMR: Epic

 

Physician Requirements:

  • BC/BE in EM, FM, or IM 
  • Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS
  • EM and FM Residents allowed to moonlight

 

Community Overview:

The city of Sneedville is the county seat of Hancock County, located in the beautiful mountainous northeastern section of Tennessee.
