Experienced Orthopedic/Hand Surgeon with Piedmont Athens Hospital
Piedmont Athens Regional is currently recruiting a board-certified orthopedic with fellowship training in hand and wrist subspecialty for our orthopedic program in Athens, Georgia. This is a great opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare system as well as an excellent orthopedic program in the beautiful community in Athens- home of the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
The ideal candidate will be board certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in hand orthopedic surgery. The physician must also possess the skill set to perform routine general orthopedic procedures. The best candidate suited for this position will want to pursue an interest in the community surrounding Piedmont Athens and also possess leadership skills to further develop the orthopedic program. This is a great opportunity to join the robust orthopedic department at our Oconee Health campus in Watkinsville that consist of excellently trained staff to include:
- General orthopedics
- Sports Medicine
- Joint/Adult Reconstruction
- Trauma orthopedics surgery
