The University of California, San Francisco, Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking to hire a candidate with expertise in general cardiology and non-invasive imaging to join a rapidly growing clinical cardiology program. The candidate should be board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography and have current clinical expertise in outpatient and inpatient cardiology, transthoracic echocardiography, stress testing and transesophageal echocardiography. The candidate must also be trained in structural echo imaging. In addition to being an outstanding clinician, the candidate will have demonstrated research interest and skills.

Applicants must hold MD (or equivalent degree), MD/PhD (or equivalent degrees), or MD/MPH (or equivalent degrees) and be qualified for appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.

The successful candidate will be expected to continue the program's growth in the outpatient and inpatient arenas and to provide world-class service to cardiovascular patients in the Bay Area and beyond. The faculty recruit will perform duties as an attending physician on the inpatient and consult services, and also provide inpatient and outpatient general cardiology patient care. The candidate will also be an active member of the cardiac noninvasive lab with day-to-day coverage of echocardiography sessions and procedures and will be expected to perform research related to structural echocardiography and procedures.
