Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) seeks to recruit the next Chief Scientific Officer. This prestigious appointee will be part of the BCH Executive Leadership Team and will guide and support the overall BCH research enterprise. S/he will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Interested candidates should have a distinguished record of pediatric research excellence, teaching and scholarly accomplishment consistent with an HMS appointment at the rank of Professor. A keen understanding of clinical and basic science research support infrastructure and operations, as well as an ability to manage a significant financial and operating budget is essential.
Candidates must possess an MD and/or PhD. If a practicing clinician, s/he must be board certified and eligible for licensure without restriction within the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
