Faculty Position in General Neurology - Assistant Professor AC

 The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of common outpatient neurologic diagnoses as well as competence in acute management of inpatient neurologic problems. Applicants must have an M.D. degree.

Teaching responsibilities may include supervision of approximately 30 PSOM students rotating on the required clinical clerkship annually, oversight of the lecture series for the Family Medicine residency, and development of the outpatient component of the program along with the special neurology track for Primary Care Program students.

Clinical responsibilities may include both inpatient and outpatient work. This position is largely outpatient office-based, but the successful candidate may participate in inpatient duties on a limited basis in consult or ward neurology.
