Interventional Pulmonologist

Tufts Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Pulmonologist to become a member of our Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Critical Care team. You will join a team with two other specialists, and help develop and grow our multi-disciplinary lung cancer program , Complex Airway Diseases, and Pleural Diseases throughout the Wellforce System. Applicants must be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine with an additional full accredited fellowship in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine. The candidate should possess outstanding clinical skills, demonstrate excellence in patient care, have a strong interest to work and teach in academic environment while participating in collaborative research. Candidates must be flexible to support our community based growth which will include travel to multiple site locations within the greater Boston area.

The candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplinary thoracic oncology program which includes Thoracic Surgeons, Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and Interventional Radiologists, as well as a part of a multi-disciplinary complex airway disease management team with the Department of Otololaryngeology & Head and Neck Surgery. Experience in all aspects of advanced Interventional Pulmonology procedures is required, including management of complex airway disease, advanced bronchoscopy (rigid, endobronchial ultrasound bronchoscopy, navigation bronchoscopy) and pleural disease interventions.
