Lung Transplant Pulmonologists
The Department of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery, Montefiore-Einstein Medical Center in New York City is seeking additional lung transplant pulmonologists to add to our pulmonary team in Lung Transplant & Advanced Pulmonary Failure.
Candidates must be board certified in Internal Medicine, board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Disease/Critical Care Medicine, and must have completed or currently completing a Lung Transplant Fellowship. Salary is commensurate with experience and consistent with the NY market. Appointment as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor rank at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is commensurate with experience, training, academic portfolio, and teaching activities.
The candidate will support a busy pulmonary failure and lung transplant program in collaboration with faculty from Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery. The candidate is expected to be well-versed in the management of end-stage lung disease and competent with ECMO. We provide an academic environment dedicated to teaching residents and fellows and focused on providing exceptional care to patients with critical pulmonary disease.
