Gastroenterologist

Oswego Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, Gastroenterologist to join a high-volume, well-respected practice that has served the community for over 30 years. The practice is comprised of experienced Gastroenterologists and a robust practice management and support team. The practice is highly integrated and actively engaged in education and teaching within the local and regional academic medical community.

Practice Background: The incoming physician will join a well-respected, established practice that is affiliated with Oswego Hospital, a 164 bed non-trauma facility that boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a progressive environment.  The selected candidate will join two other board certified Gastroenterology physicians, one Nurse Practitioner and a multidisciplinary staff to provide diagnosis and treatment to achieve early detection and effective treatment of GI disorders.  The incoming candidate would have the chance to teach fellows and pursue an academic appointment, if desired.  Position will rotate between office and hospital with a typical office day of 20-24 patients alternating with a procedural day of 10-15 scopes and hospital consults.
