Rheumatologist

Deschutes Rheumatology in Bend, Oregon is a seeking a board-certified or board-eligible rheumatologist to join an established private rheumatology practice.

The practice consists of two rheumatologists and one physician assistant, a full-time densitometry service, as well as a busy infusion service. We utilize a fully implemented electronic health record system. As Bend is a quickly growing community, we are adding a third rheumatologist to our group. We are offering a competitive salary and benefits with excellent potential. We are located on the campus of St. Charles Medical Center (292 beds). The medical community is a tertiary referral area with most specialties and subspecialties represented. The catchment area is approximately 300,000.

Bend is a small city of approximately 100,000 in the high desert of Central Oregon on the eastern edge of the Deschutes National Forest and the Cascade Mountain range, 160 miles by car from Portland, Oregon and served by a regional airport, which connects to major metropolitan cities on the West Coast. Central Oregon is known for its quality of life, moderate four season climate, and good schools. Alpine and Nordic skiing are available at Mount Bachelor, 20 miles from town. Golfing, biking, fishing, hiking, kayaking, water skiing, and other outdoor activities are readily available. Cultural amenities include art, music, and film festivals as well as live theater and concerts.
