UNC Rex Hospital is currently seeking a full-time experienced Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon.  North Carolina Surgery Rex Thoracic team offers the latest treatment options and access to all of the support and resources offered at Rex and UNC Health Care. Our board-certified specialists have been trained at some of the top programs in their fields.  They work closely with other specialists at Rex and UNC to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach. 

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• NC State License preferred
• Experienced MD / Board Certified
• Provided professional medical services
• Exercises independent professional judgement in the care & treatment of patients
• Consults and counsels patients and families
• Refer patients as needed to appropriate medical specialists
• Supervises other medical professionals
• Adheres to the principles of medical ethics
