University Hospitals Medical Group is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified palliative care physician with experience in palliative care focusing in oncology. Become an integral part of University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center s unique patient-focused culture, and a key contributor to the development and expansion of our palliative care program.
Responsibilities include inpatient (10%) and outpatient (80%) patient care, and academic endeavors (10%). The role will work in close collaboration with a team of advanced practice nurses, nurse care coordinators, and other supportive resources to improve coordinated patient management across the care continuum. Administrative responsibilities include inter-disciplinary program oversight, medical education with students and trainees, and clinical program development, participating in data-driven quality and process improvement, advancing new models and methods such as telehealth and risk-stratification, and integration of services throughout University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center Network.
