Pediatric Pulmonology

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist to join their established and busy team of providers. The position will primarily provide pediatric outpatient patient care including the clinical management of infants, children and adolescents with chronic lung disease, asthma, and other disorders of the airway. The office has a full-service pediatric pulmonary function laboratory. Additional responsibilities include consulting on inpatients and collaborating with the inpatient pediatric hospitalist, pediatric intensivist, neonatologist, and pediatric emergency medicine physicians. The clinic is located at St. Mary’s, a large community hospital which has a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department, NICU and PICU.
A typical day would include seeing 12-15 patients in a clinic setting via telemedicine or face to face visits. Inpatient and Emergency Department consults will be shared between the providers within the practice. Provider will be allotted time for bronchoscopies.
Supported by daily by a CMA & LPN team. RN leadership is available for phone triage and advanced clinical support.
