Orthopaedic Pediatric Surgeon
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stanford University seeks a board certified/eligible orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in pediatric orthopaedic surgery to join the department at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level on the Clinician Educator Line (CE). This position will be part of a joint venture between Stanford Children’s Healthcare and John Muir Medical Center, located in Walnut Creek, CA.
The major criteria for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fill.
Academic line/rank will be determined by qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. We expect the successful candidate to provide surgical and non-surgical care for pediatric orthopaedic patients, as well as teach and mentor other physicians and ancillary staff at the Walnut Creek facility. The successful applicant must be eligible for a California Medical License, hold a doctorate degree, and have completed orthopaedic surgery residency and a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery.
