Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington is recruiting a BC/BE general Gastroenterologist to join our world-renowned GI Department. The practice site for these positions includes opportunity at our main campus in downtown Seattle as well as at our Regional Medical Centers in the suburbs of Seattle.
Excellent opportunity with primary focus on caring for patients in a collegial team environment with superb support staff, and easy access to primary care and specialists. The GI Section has a new state-of-the-art endoscopy procedure floor in the new medical center, adjacent to the current hospital, and next to interventional cardiology and radiology.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional and experienced clinician with excellent communication and team building skills with a strong commitment to patient and team-centered care. The ideal candidate will also have the motivation to build a practice. Preference given for candidates interested in teaching, research activities, and enjoys working in a team. The ideal candidate will also support our innovative process improvement work with its focus on improving the patient experience, eliminating waste and transforming healthcare; an integral part of the Virginia Mason culture.
Qualifications:
BC/BE in gastroenterology
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
