Outpatient Physical Medicine - Beautiful Integrated Rehabilitation Institute - Omaha, Nebraska

CHI Health Clinic (CHC) and CHI Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute seek a BC/BE outpatient physiatrist with particular interest in sports/spine and MSK work in partnerships with our orthopedic division and Spine Hospital.  The ideal candidate would also work in close collaboration to our two inpatient Physiatrists at our State of the art Rehabilitation Center

Our state-of-the-art multi –accredited facility, has added a spacious outpatient clinic, an inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation training center and a specially-designed, warm-water pool with a move-able floor for inpatient and outpatient aquatic therapy.

Various functions of the role may include but not limited to:

• Commitment to build an outpatient MSK rehabilitation practice, in conjunction with our current two inpatient physiatrists. 
• Various outpatient procedures such as injections, back and spine management, acute MSK, managing some chronic Pain, & direct collaboration with our Physical Therapists.

Additionally, voluntary or full faculty appointment available at CUSOM.  Opportunities for research in Creighton University Schools of Medicine or Allied Health.

The candidate should possess particular interpersonal strengths in empathy, problem solving, and listening.  The practice attitude is one of pitching in and helping out and sharing burdens and benefits.  The current practice consists of 2 inpatient physiatrists and one nurse practitioner and this position replaces a former outpatient psychiatrist moving out of state.

CHI Health in the Omaha metro consists of 5 academic and community hospitals with programs including thrombectomy-capable comprehensive stroke and level 1 trauma.  Immanuel Medical Center offers general hospital and specialty services including the CHI Neurological Institute and CHI Immanuel Rehabilitation Institute (IRI).
