Richmond Health Network seeks a full time OB/Gyn Physician to be part of the Richmond Health Network of primary, OB/Gyn and specialty physician practices. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic OB/Gyn Practice with a significant following. The practice provides OB Services with deliveries to Richmond University Medical Center; a Baby Friendly Hospital. The selected candidate will also provide gynecological services and perform surgeries at the Medical Center as needed.

The office is supported by Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants. Ultra Sound equipment is available for general screenings. The Medical Center s Maternal Fetal Specialist & Chairman of OB/Gyn is located less than a mile away from the Practice offering the finest MFM screening and consultation as part of the collaborative Team.

Richmond Health Network s OB/Gyn Practice is located on the South Shore of Staten Island at 4360 Hylan Boulevard. The Center is connected to our multispecialty center that offers primary care, general surgery, GI and orthopedics. Renovated in 2017, this Chamber of Commerce Building Excellence Award winning building is conveniently located on a highly trafficked intersection with easy access by car or multiple public transit bus lines. Ample parking is available. The Medical Center s Maternal Fetal Specialist & Chairman of OB/Gyn is located less than a mile away from the Practice offering the finest MFM screening and consultation as part of the collaborative Team.

Richmond University Medical Center recently entered into a broad clinical affiliation with Mount Sinai Health System. This affiliation will provide the OB/GYN with collaborative opportunities and, potentially, clinical and academic appointments with Mount Sinai s internationally acclaimed patient care, research and education programs.

The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for OB/GYN and be fully committed to the mission of Richmond University Medical Center and to a patient-centered model of care.

We are seeking Board Certified, experienced OB/Gyn physicians who can provide consistent, compassionate, high-quality, safe and patient-centric care, personalized to each and every patient. The successful candidate will possess clinical abilities as demonstrated through training, education, certification and experience, strong interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills

Position Description:

- Work with a large primary care referral base and almost every specialty
- Serve a diverse population and live in a culturally diverse neighborhood
- Support Staff includes Medical Assistants, NPs, Office Managers, Clerical
- Candidate will participate in practice and hospital 405 coverage rotation

Position Qualifications:

- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN
- GYN Surgery experience strongly desired
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment
- Respectfully collaborate and build relationships with a diverse set of teammates
- Thrive in a constantly evolving environment, challenging the status quo and striving to innovate and improve care delivery
