Outstanding opportunity to join a multi-specialty practice in rapidly growing Murfreesboro, TN. Saint Thomas Medical Partners in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is seeking a talented and ambitious gastroenterologist to join our GI program. This physician will be fellowship trained in gastroenterology, proficient with ERCP, possess a strong work ethic, be a team player, and serve as an ambassador for Saint Thomas Medical Partners and the Gastroenterology Service Line.

This position includes working as a GI Hospitalist for 2 weeks a month in the hospital and working 2 weeks a month in an outpatient clinic setting.

The practice is based at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford, a 358-bed regional referral center that features a modern facility built in 2010.  The hospital features a newly-renovated 16 operating room suite, a 32-bed ICU,and all-private patient rooms.  The beautiful 68-acre campus, including medical office buildings, is situated on the bustling “Medical Center Parkway” corridor with convenient access to shopping and dining.

Located just 30 minutes southeast of Nashville, this community is one of the nation’s fastest-growing population centers. The community balances top schools and a wide range of housing options with quick access to the amenities of metropolitan living, including fine dining, live music, and professional sporting events.  Murfreesboro is home to Middle Tennessee State University, and with multiple nearby lakes and trails, many families enjoy outdoor recreation and living.
