The West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Orthopaedics is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon at the main campus in Morgantown, WV. In addition to providing excellent patient care, this faculty member will be actively involved in teaching medical students and orthopaedic surgery residents. Opportunities also exist in clinical research.
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an ACGME accredited orthopaedic surgery residency as well as an orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the time of appointment.
We are reaching our goal of expertise in all sub-specialty areas of Orthopaedics including foot and ankle, spine, total joint replacement, sports medicine, hand, pediatrics, trauma, and musculoskeletal oncology. Our faculty are fellowship trained and respected nationally, but we emphasize more than surgical expertise - our mission is to provide excellence in patient care and customer service in the delivery of that care. As a part of a major academic teaching center, we use a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and education of our patients. Our physicians have easy access to a full range of specialists.

Ruby Memorial Hospital, located in Morgantown. The system also provides management services to five additional hospitals.
