At Lehigh Valley Health Network, you have the opportunity to make an essential impact on the lives of your patients! We are seeking an enthusiastic BC/BE Occupational Medicine physician who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team as Chief of Occupational Medicine! 

Practice Overview:

A successful candidate will be a board-certified Occupational Medicine physician with at least seven-years’ experience, a collaborative mindset, an ability to build relationships across the clinical and administrative spectrum, a passion for exceptional patient-centric care, a commitment to quality improvement and innovation, and a strong strategic focus. Responsibilities will include clinical activities with a blend of administrative activities. Clinical duties include:

  • Provide network Occupational Medicine services through Employee Health
  • Clinic injury and illness care
  • MRO services
  • Advising on wellness activities
  • DOT, pre-placement employment, surveillance, and Fit for Duty exams

The position includes oversight of 10 Occupational Medicine physicians and 7 advanced practice clinicians across the network.  Our new Chief of Occupational Medicine will have responsibility for the division’s clinical operations, quality improvement, research and educational mission. Interaction with corporate and government entities, for medical support, is required.  Academic appointment is available through the Morsani School of Medicine at the University of South Florida, LVHN’s academic affiliate.

Job Qualifications:  

  • A network champion for Occupational Medicine and a passion for the clinical work
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
  • Must possess DOT medical examiner certification and Medical Review Officer certification or obtain within the first 6 months of employment
  • A valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
