Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit university dedicated to education, research, health care, and community service is seeking a spine specialist to join the Division of Neurosurgery in a full time, open rank, academic appointment within the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Missouri License
- Experienced MD/Board Certified or Eligible
- Complex Spine Fellowship trained
- Will participate in research and education of residents

Saint Louis University Hospital provides adult Level I trauma services for both Missouri and Illinois with 2,400 trauma admissions per year. SLU Hospital, an academic teaching facility with 356 beds and 65 ICU beds which has been serving the St. Louis region for over 70 years is located in the heart of Midtown St. Louis. The successful candidate will be practicing in our new state of the art, 802,000-square-foot, 550-million-dollar SLU-SSM facility in addition to the second nearby SSM-St. Mary’s facility. Candidates will join a well-established combined orthopedic-neurosurgery spine practice with a robust trauma, degenerative and deformity referral base. The practice is well equipped with an EOS imaging system as well as stereotactic capabilities.
