Saint Alphonsus Medical Group and Saint Alphonsus Medical Center Nampa have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgery physician to be part of a vibrant and growing practice located in Nampa, Idaho.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 500 provider multispecialty group practice that seeks a General Ortho surgeon to join a growing practice in Nampa, Idaho. In addition to this General Ortho opportunity, the group includes, Ortho-Joints, Ortho-Spine, non-operative Sports Medicine, Foot & Ankle Surgery, Podiatry, and is supported by a team of Advanced Practice Providers.
The practice is located in a clinic space just four years old and co-located with Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) physical therapy. All located on the campus of the new Nampa hospital building (three years old) with an OR including six rooms.
The typical schedule for this opportunity is Monday through Friday, which includes a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week, plus procedures, rounding and consults.
Call for this opportunity is general Orthopedic ED call.
Requirements for this opportunity include board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) - or able to obtain within 3 years. The opportunity also requires Idaho and Oregon licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC Nampa and other system hospitals as needed. The selected candidate must also be willing to take general orthopedic call.
