Clinician-Educator, Endocrinology

The Division of Endocrinology in the Prisma Health Medical Group seeks board eligible or board-certified endocrinologist. This is a full-time clinical position affiliated with the Department of Medicine, University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina.

Principal responsibilities include patient care within a clinical practice with endocrine fellows, and educational activities for residents and medical students. Interest in research welcome but not required.

Clinical activity is conducted within the Prisma Health Medical Group, the group practice for the medical school physicians. Endocrine division offices are on the campus of Prisma Health Richland Hospital, the medical school s principal teaching institution.

Prisma Health Midlands currently employs more than 500 physicians who deliver care across 12 clinical campuses. As a teaching hospital, we train the next generation of physicians and host 31 residency and fellowship programs and a 4-year medical education program with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Columbia. We are a designated Level I Emergency Trauma Center and have a separate research facility.
