Director of Gynecologic Oncology – Michigan Medicine

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Michigan Medical School seeks applications from board certified GYN Oncologists - Obstetrician/Gynecologists, to serve as the Director of the GYN Oncology Division.  This full-time faculty position will be at the Associate Professor or Professor level depending on the qualifications of the candidate.  The department is seeking a highly innovative and visionary leader to advance the clinical, research, and education missions of the Gynecologic Oncology Program in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

In additional to clinical work, a successful GYN Oncology Director will create and establish a unifying vision for the Division, and promote high-quality, patient-centered, efficient and equitable care. The Director will ensure the success of the GYN Oncology Fellowship, work with the University of MI Cancer Center leadership, and further advance complex surgical care across the institution. The Director will lead the recruitment, retention and development of faculty and staff to achieve the program’s vision.  A successful candidate will advance and strengthen individual and team research, and enhance financial stability through management, research funding, and philanthropy.  The Division and Department have a strong commitment to a culture that promotes and sustains diversity, equity and inclusion across our tri-partite missions and to ensure the highest quality of care for all we serve and for all who work and learn in our community.
