Our existing team of 5 Cardiologists is looking to add a full time Interventional Cardiologist physician who thrives on providing excellent patient care with an emphasis on safety and quality.  Join an established team of 4 non-invasive cardiologists, one existing interventionalists, two visiting electrophysiologists and three cardiology techs. The practice is located 25 miles south of Boston.

The Brockton Hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory provides primary and elective PCI service. The cardiology section also maintains an Advanced Heart Failure Program with a dedicated post-discharge clinic and an Anticoagulation Management Service. The cardiac rehabilitation program is also available on campus.   This position is based out of Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital.  Practice less than an hour from Boston, Cape Cod & Providence. We are Southeastern Massachusetts’ largest integrated system, including Brockton Hospital and Signature Medical Group, one of the largest multi-specialty, multi-site physician group practices on the South Shore.

Qualification:

  • Board certified or eligible in General Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.
  • Level II training in Echocardiography
  • Training in Cardiac MR and Cardiac CT is a plus.

Director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory - A seasoned eligible provider may choose to be considered for the Clinical Director of Cardiac Catheterization services.  The cardiac catheterization laboratory director provides leadership and oversight responsibility for the clinical and operational activities occurring within the lab, including coronary, vascular and electrophysiology procedures.  The director will help develop strong relationships with physicians and collaborate to develop existing clinical services, implement new programs, and assess / improve quality outcomes.  The director works collaboratively with the Laboratory Manager, Chief of Cardiology, Chief of Surgery (for vascular procedures), Service Line Director, and members of our tertiary healthcare affiliate, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
