Our primary Care practices are linked by a system wide electronic medical record, supporting access to a wide variety of specialty and consultative services.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Woodhull Medical Center is recruiting Primary Care Physicians (PCP) to join our primary care team composed of physician and non-physician health professionals; serving as the entry point for the patient’s medical and healthcare needs.
Our evolving primary care practices provide health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses in a variety of ambulatory and hospital based care settings. Our PCPs serve as an advocate for the patient in coordinating the use of the entire health care system.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record and interest in care coordination. Board Certification preferred; minimum Board eligible within 5 years post residency with a passion for the healthcare needs of an inner city urban population. Preferably 2 to 3 years’ experience.
