At Woodhull Medical Center an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, we treasure innovative and enthusiastic medical leaders who believe that patients deserve the best quality of health care.  We are seeking an experienced leader to provide strategic direction and oversight for the medicine services at this 417 bed hospital and its satellite facilities located in North Brooklyn.

We are seeking an experienced physician leader to serve as GME Program Director for our Medicine Residency Program (60 residents) at Woodhull Hospital.  The Director oversees the program responsibilities encompassing all aspects of postgraduate medical education and training.  

This includes:

* Curriculum design, program evaluation and improvement

* Ensuring learning objectives are accomplished through supervised patient care responsibilities, clinical teaching, and didactic education

* Supervision and scheduling of residents

* Meeting ACGME accreditation requirement

* Ensuring the necessary professional, technical, and clerical personnel are in place

* Working in collaboration with the Resident Review Committee and Program Evaluation Committee

* Working in collaboration with the sponsoring institution, the  Medical Director  and Chief of Service to ensure a culture of professionalism and patient safety
