DIVISION CHIEF OF MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor to serve as Chief of the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM).  This thriving division currently consists of 14 full-time clinical faculty and is part of the MFMU and active in a multitude of national research projects. Three current faculty members completed early career training K awards and two in the Department’s WRHR program.  Clinical responsibilities include both consultation as well as total care of patients with high-risk pregnancies, coverage of Labor and Delivery, and performance and interpretation of ultrasounds. The division also collaborates with Lurie Children’s Hospital in the recently established Chicago Institute for Fetal Health, a joint pediatric surgery-MFM program devoted to fetal therapy. Teaching responsibilities will include involvement in student, resident, and fellow education.  The division is seeking candidates with an established track record in research or other academic pathways.

Qualified candidates will have completed an MFM fellowship and be board-certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine.

The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.

When applying, please upload a CV and cover letter describing your interest and alignment with the position.
