NEUROSURGERY OPPORTUNITY

  • Degenerative spinal disorders
  • Juan Jimenez, M.D.
  • Key areas of interest but not limited to -
    • Medical Director of Neurosciences Institute
    • Minimally invasive brain and spine surgery
    • Second neurosurgeon in the U.S. to use Stryker Tritanium 3D printed implant: 2016
  • 5 FTE Physician Assistants and 2.0 FTE Nurse Practitioner
  • Assists in the OR
  • Post-op rounding
  • Share call
  • Due to ongoing growth, one more neurosurgeon is being recruited
    1. Practice Organization
    2. Employed position with the hospital, Riverside Medical Center
    3. Member of the Riverside Medical Group (approximately 170 providers in different specialties)

    • Practice Set-up
    1. Type of Practice
    2. Inpatient / Outpatient
    3. Approximately 2 1/2 days in clinic
    4. Approximately 2 days in surgery
    5. Approximately 700 cases performed in 2019
    6. 1:3 Call (Every third day and every third weekend)
    7. PAs take first call
    8. Office hours 9:00 5:00/ Monday thru Friday
    9. Practice location on hospital campus
    10. Two offsite outreach locations where patients are currently seen:
    11. Coal City, IL
    12. Frankfort, IL

    22. Spine neck and back pain, disc herniations, spinal fractures, spinal tumors, spondylolisthesis
