Centra Medical Group seeks an engaging, autonomous Geriatrician to spearhead its growing Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) practice in beautiful Central Virginia

Our PACE Center

PACE is unlike any practice model. We do not have patients. We work with participants , who are frail, 55+, live at home and have elected to join us at the PACE center on a consistent basis. We typically bus our participants from home to receive rehabilitation and checkups, but we also provide social events, games and a sense of community. Our homecare team checks in so that they can continue to live at home safely.

You can expect

We are looking for a BC internist or family medicine physician (2+ years) or a BC/BE fellowship-trained geriatrician for our Farmville, VA practice.

Experience working with the elderly population, chronic disease management, long-term care and/or disabilities is a must.

• Day shift hours, Monday - Friday
• Call: 3:1, but it goes to our very experienced RN first
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Acute and episodic visits; Hospital and long-term care rehab rounding (within 1 hour)
• Up to $10,000 relocation assistance
• $10,000 satellite location bonus
• $7,500 CME reimbursement + 5 days off for CME
• 6 weeks paid vacation; Medical, dental, vision and malpractice insurance
